Jenna Simsen
Jenna Simsen is a marketing and communication professional from Texas City, TX. Jenna has worked in the public sector since age 18, starting her career with the City of League City as a summer camp counselor. In her years with the City she served in the Parks Recreation department while simultaneously earning her communication degree and completing an internship with the City of League City Public Information Office. At the end of her internship, she was offered a position with the Public Information Office. Within four years, Jenna took over as Interim Director of Communications and was the youngest director at City of League City.
In 2015, Jenna made the move to Dickinson ISD where she accepted the role of Marketing and Communication Specialist. After one year, she was promoted to Director of Marketing and Digital Media. Jenna is currently the youngest director for Dickinson ISD.
In addition to her career, Simsen is involved in numerous community groups and causes where she serves as a member, board member, or officer.
When Jenna isn’t working or volunteering, she’s traveling with loved ones, playing guitar, or walking her dog, Hammer.
